Meet Neetu
A thoughtful, collaborative approach to psychological therapy
Hello, I'm Neetu Singh, a Registered Psychologist and the founder of Tranquil Psychology Perth.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood and supported. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based and tailored to your individual experiences, recognising that no two people or life circumstances are exactly the same.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, burnout or grief, navigating ADHD or autism, or seeking greater clarity through an assessment, my aim is to work collaboratively with you to better understand what's happening, build practical strategies where appropriate, and support meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Why I chose psychology
My interest in psychology began long before it became my profession.
Growing up, I saw firsthand how mental health challenges can affect not only the individual experiencing them, but also the people who love and care for them. Those experiences taught me the importance of compassion, understanding and the difference that the right support can make.
They also shaped the kind of psychologist I strive to be: someone who takes the time to understand each person's story, works collaboratively, and recognises that every individual's experiences are unique.
How I work
I draw on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed approaches, and trauma-informed therapy.
My work with ADHD and autism is grounded in a neuroaffirming framework: recognising and working with individual differences, rather than treating them as things to be corrected.
As a Registered Psychologist with experience across both school and private practice settings, I value adapting therapy to each person's age, circumstances and goals.
I continue to undertake professional development to ensure my practice reflects current evidence and best practice. This currently includes ongoing training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy, which will continue to inform my clinical work as my training progresses.
I believe therapy is most effective when it's collaborative, practical and genuinely tailored to your goals, rather than a fixed program applied the same way to everyone.
Who I work with
I work with school-aged children, adolescents and adults. Therapy is tailored to each person's age, developmental stage and individual needs. I also provide comprehensive assessments for adults (18+) seeking clarity through an adult ADHD assessment or adult autism assessment.
If I believe another practitioner or service would better meet your child's needs, I'll discuss this with you and help guide you towards appropriate support.
Why Tranquil Psychology Perth
I chose the name Tranquil Psychology Perth because I wanted to create a practice that feels calm, thoughtful and welcoming. Seeking support can feel like a significant step, and therapy shouldn't feel rushed or overwhelming. My hope is that everyone who reaches out feels listened to, respected, and supported in working towards what matters most to them.
I look forward to meeting you.
