Information for referrers
Refer to Us
Thank you for considering Tranquil Psychology Perth for your patient. I aim to work collaboratively with referrers to support good outcomes, and I'm happy to discuss a potential referral before it's finalised if that would help you decide on the right fit.
Therapy referrals welcome for
- School-aged children, adolescents and adults
- Anxiety, trauma and PTSD
- Depression, stress and burnout
- Grief and adjustment
- ADHD-related support
- Autism-related support
- Emotional regulation, life transitions
Assessment referrals welcome for
- Adult ADHD assessments (18+)
- Adult autism assessments (18+)
A referral letter isn't required to book, but it helps me understand the reason for referral and any relevant history before the first appointment.
If you're unsure whether a referral is appropriate, please don't hesitate to get in touch. If I believe another clinician or service would better meet your patient's needs, I'll discuss this with the patient and, where appropriate, assist with onward referral.
Medicare
Patients may be eligible for Medicare rebates when referred under a valid Mental Health Care Plan. Referrals are also welcome from psychiatrists, paediatricians, specialists and other health professionals where appropriate.
Please note that comprehensive adult ADHD and autism assessments are generally not eligible for a Medicare rebate; see the Adult ADHD Assessment and Adult Autism Assessment pages for current fee information.
What to include in a referral
- Patient demographics and contact details
- Presenting concerns
- Relevant mental health and medical history
- Current medications (if relevant)
- Previous psychological treatment (if known)
- Mental Health Care Plan (if applicable)
- Any specific questions or goals for assessment or therapy
For ADHD or autism assessment referrals specifically, previous psychological or psychiatric reports and school reports (where relevant to developmental history) are also helpful if available.
None of the above is required to make a referral; it simply helps make the first appointment more useful for your patient.
Appointment availability
Current appointment availability varies. Please get in touch and I'm happy to advise.
